'I suggest a reading of 'a lesson in tightropes',  or 'surfing your high hopes' or 'adios kansas'' - Rufus Wainwright, Cigarettes & Chocolate Milk

0 visits to the gym/coffees/lunches/lazing in saunas (enjoying oneself) achieved.
1 job application (for one hopefully more challenging) filled in.
2 pairs of linen pants (two sizes smaller) bought.
3 petit fours (remember the linen pants!) eaten.
4 bills (that had been procrastinated over) paid.
5 looks in the mirror, checking (to see if it was really me looking back)

and the kicker:

1500 euros for APK (roadworthy test) for my car, (oh my god oh my god, I am poor!) quoted.

Gasp.

You do have the right to remain silent ;-) Better not... So need a lift now, or does "it" drive again (160 without noticing)..

Engels dekt de lading toch beter hè...

Wessel: Engels dekt de lading beter.. idd.

I have no need for a lift, (ben met de fiets) but seeing as it was the brakes that needed repairing maybe I shouldn't have been travelling at 160 ...

I hate the APK time of year ... ours is due right around the Christmas holidays. Yuck.

Tell me what you want me to know.
