it rolled around again
'I picked up the pieces when I woke, put them in a boat made of things that I don’t want to see' - Jack Johnson, Enemy
Saturday that is.
Ok, here goes for my disjointed blogpost of the week. Most of the other ones have been about loooooove, so let's make this one more... um... not.
I just got a thing from amazon.de to tell me my books are coming. Like I told you all before, my German is perfectly adequate for online shopping, pity it's not the same for conversing. So I wrote already about what I was gonna get, so I can't tell you again. But you can go look.
---------------
I bought some music from itunes today. Jack Johnson's Sleep through the Static and In Between Dreams and Paolo Nutini's These Streets. Paolo is obscenely young and good looking. Wah. I'm 34! I have to give myself a stern talking to and say that I'm too old and try not to listen to the lyrics of Jenny Don't Be Hasty where you might think for a minute that a hot young thing like that actually likes older women. (My tongue is firmly in my cheek here by the way.)
----------------
I did an incredibly amount of work in the gym today and I came out after 2 hours so high I could barely walk. Stumbled into the restaurant after the sauna and made everyone laugh because I was just so zoned. Don't you love that?
I listened to the Cure and my feet padding on the treadmill, and the endorphins kicked in early for me today. It was rhythmic and comforting and before I knew it I'd done 10 km in total. Once your legs get used to it and you breathe properly you feel like you could go on forever. I think it was easier today because I did 3 km then my weights training and then the other 7.
The steam room wasn't working so I went in the sauna instead. I don't like dry heat usually, but today I got into it. I relaxed. I sat for 20 minutes and thought about nothing. How very good for the soul.

I found the Eight Irresistible Principles of Fun online via via.
'Via via' is an expression Dutch people use a lot.
'How do you know so-and-so?' 'Oh we met via via'.
It's cute and easy to say and gives you absolutely no information at all.
Anyway, the Principles of Fun. You have to click the link, just do it.
I love this one, part of #3 Be Creative, Stop Following the Rules:
'With the exception of gravity, almost all of the rules are negotiable. Someone just makes them up.'Oh, they're all fucking amazing, just go read. So who's up for more fun, more often and again?
------------------
Also via via. Ahem. This looks fun. (Yes, I said fun, again).
The International Social Club.
I'm going to try it out this week and if it's fun, and full of like-minded and international people, and I become a member then anyone who knows me and wants to try it out can let me know and I'll take them. You. Whoever. God, what happened to that sentence?
The event I'm going to is at a chic bar/restaurant for which I will need to be chic. Oh help! Tell me I am? Tell me what to wear?
-------------------
This week is full of 'things'. I have a PTA meeting on Tuesday night, days filled with stuff, Wednesday the social thing. I still want to do a workshop at Easylaughs and I'm enrolled in Dutch class but absent while I find my balance in February.
Ok, that's it. Nothing else to say.
'Thank God' say all of you in unison.

Tell me what you want me to know.
